Concerns You May Encounter When Writing a Book
Making the first commitment to writing a book is no easy task. Especially for anyone who is known for writing online already. This is something you may want to keep to yourself. If you’re used to writing in an autobiographical style online, it is important to notify your readers if you choose to take on a different approach when writing a book. A Self-Help book is one that generally helps others in whatever situations there are going through in their lives, as it relates to your own life and how you have been able to cope and move forward. According to Google, a Self-Help Book is “one that is written with the intention to instruct its readers on solving personal problems.” This isn’t going to be a book about other people, its going to be a book not about my troubles, nor specific interactions with others, but about useful steps to take when you encounter a situation in life and how best to deal with it, as a blogger, from the bloggers standpoint.
Writing about others is rarely useful when trying to solve problems, let alone your own problems. A mention is a mention on Social Media, however writing about another is a completely different thing, and usually causes problems for you the writer. We are all sensitive people, sensitive to our needs as well as sensitive to the needs of our audience and those if any that are mentioned. It is assumed by those mentioned that in doing so it is done cold or with malice or some intent to benefit the writer and their current situation. That is not the case in my situation, mentions are usually offered as thanks or inclusion of others to my Campaign online. There’s no personal agenda, and its wrong to ever assume that there is an agenda of a writer, one that would ever cause harm to another or intended, written, to cause harm to another, that is not the case.
This is why I decided to keep things general on my Blog on mymollydoll.com. Not to confuse people, or to make people paranoid, thinking that something could be written about them without mention of their name, and by the sharing of other stories, then be applied to my current post, and assumed to be about them, that is not how I write. I write in terms of my current situation and standing in life, not to the past. I always encourage others to move forward and try my best to do so too. That would be really mean and conniving, for a writer to purposefully write identifiable stories about individuals, and then write a general post about a situation, and make it so similar as to put two and two together with an intent to cause harm to another’s reputation or make them sound like they are a bad person, or ever intended to harm me. That is a product of the paranoia of the reader, who assumes everything is about them, if reading and applying everything to themselves, and if it does not apply, assume that it is written not to apply to them, and therefore single them out a person or group of persons to be helped by my writings. If you are not helped by my writings, which I do my best to make sense, it is because for some reason you do not like me, pass judgment upon me, or are being discriminatory towards me, so much so that what I write does not process in a positive light for you. That is something I cannot help, and that is not my job to help those who are not accepting of me, that is not the purposes for my book, I have never had any issues with acceptance. Acceptance has never been a personal issue, I have always been the most popular, and have never had trouble making friends or finding a boyfriend, I always have a boyfriend and I always have friends.
Why am I different now? (1) I have been raped. (2) I have HPV. And (3) I have no Income. That is why I am different now. I am different now, because I choose to isolate and work on myself, better my life, so that I can continue to have a Career online, to supplement a Career in the workforce as a Paralegal. That much I have been able to achieve. I just got a job as a Paralegal, and just started doing Non-Profit work again, with MomsDemand and Brady Campaign, two non-profits I will be participating in group meetings with this Fall and Winter Season. Why does my life sound so difficult, because I have disability. Because I have disability, I am discriminated. Because I have disability, I have difficulty maintaining a relationship and keeping the other interested in me. Because I have disability, I have difficulty completing projects at work in a timely fashion and am not as quick, a machine like I used to be. Because I have disability there are certain things I can do well, and there are certain things that I cannot do well. Writing has always been one of my strengths, that is why I have decided to write a book, because I need to provide for myself, I need to be able to earn a living, so that I can afford rent, food, clothing, and shelter, and not rely on anyone to take care of me, and be able to take care of myself. That is why I have decided to become a professional writer, and have been practicing online for many years, 4.
How to Start Writing a Book
As difficult as it seems, all tasks no matter how big or small, begin with goal setting. In the case of writing a book, this requires me to set goals in order to accomplish the task of writing a book. Writing a book is not something that happens overnight, but in my case, after many years of careful reflection and experience writing online, getting to know myself, and getting to know my audience and what their needs are. –Half of my book is already written, my personal statements to law schools and other essays about my life written by me and posted online on my website mymollydoll.com. I look forward to beginning this journey online, with my current audience, and hope that you all learn during this process with me, how to write a book.
