Chapter 4: IOP Goal Setting by Leslie A. Fischman
Always set goals for yourself. Daily, Weekly, and Monthly to help you get on track and stay on track in life. Nothing achieved well earned ever happens accidentally we usually have to try, try our best, work hard. Don't beat yourself up in you're not perfect and if those around you are not happy for your positive progress. It must not have anything to do with you and everything to do with them. Always be understanding that how people treat you is a manifestation of themselves, reflective of how they feel whether toward you or toward themselves. Don't let anyone affect you. What other people think or say should not matter so much as for you to take anything too personally whether directed at you or not.
Dont dwell too much on the past. What's done is done. Move forward, learn from your mistakes and hopefully because of your mistakes in life you'll be a better person. Life is all about what you make of it.
Managing your emotions is one thing. Managing your health is another. The better our health the better life we are capable of living and the more goals we are capable of achieving. There's so much pressure it's overwhelming some days to succeed and be in good health. Its easy during those times to fall apart. Always stay steady. When those around you notice the difference and are proud of you that's a sure sign you're doing well.
Always be in control of your emotions. Management starts there. It's how you react that matters. Look forward to tomorrow and do you best to bring about good news in your life. That's how to make things better, find stability, when everything around you seems to be going wrong, always stay centered.
Always lend a hand to a friend in need. You never know which life you have the ability to change for the better, simply by being a good friend and offering positive feedback. Life gets difficult sometimes. Always be understanding of others. Show compassion. Not disappointment. Show support, not interpret them negatively. We all have problems, some worse than others. The better you stick together with friends the better off you'll be. And they'll be thankful you were there for them when they were down.
Always be good to yourself. Never let yourself down. Life is too short to worry about the could've should've would'ves in life just be content with where you are now. How you find success in life. Depends on your outlook. What you see fit. If you think poorly of yourself -surely you will never achieve the level of success you seek to achieve in life. Always think positively of self and others in order for things to go right for you in life. If you don't have anything nice to say don't say it at all. Unhappiness from others, is no excuse to engage in their unhappiness with you. Steer clear of negative people. Always do your best to stay positive.
When you're not feeling well or feeling scared, annoyed, or irritated. You should think about things that matter to you not what matters to others. That means you're (1) controlling (2) trying to control other people (3) unhappy when you feel a loss of control over negative outcomes for others or positive outcomes for yourself. You should always (1) be happy for others (a) successes and (b) happiness in life. With or without them in your lives, it's called moving forward and letting go of things that don't matter and only matter to you. What matters to you should never nor ever have any affect on others, otherwise your points of reference are for selfish means not for the betterment of the whole: (1) world (2) community and (3) causes to whom you support. Be supportive of all people that's called being humane.
Change is difficult. We have changed! What more could you ask for at times like these? The issue sometimes is NOT with you but with others: (1) about you (2) toward you or (3) around you. Always be understanding. Always in the calm before the storm we reflect and find fault within others sometimes including ourselves -ask what more can be done? The answer is always more, always do your best! That's how you create a safety network through: (1) confidence of public opinion (2) confidence in self (3) confidence in others (4) whether or not who is leading who (5) get along with everyone = (6) How you make and achieve peace, (a) it must first come from within then by (b) what you do to maintain that peace and by (c) what others do to help preserve that peace = #WorldPeace as to commentary, acceptance, and public opinion, ONLY.
Support comes in waves. Through improvement and by success alone not by words or actions but by what's on paper what's on the books what's professional and what's not. It's by how you present yourself. It's by what you say. It's how you carry yourself in public is all that matters. That's how you get jobs. That's how you achieve success. Success is not by like-mindedness. It's by you!
You are always in control. You are a product of the decisions and choices you make in life. It's no ones business for what reasons you're busy, or being proactive and have less time to socialize, eachother should be proud of the other not resentful or take anything too personally. Some people need to focus during times of need. Life requires balance: (1) time and (2) opinion. Find your balance in life. If what is lacking is Committment then deliver it, if what is lacking is Trust, then work on it, if what is lacking is Appearances then get back to it. If what you are doing now = success in your life, THEN you are doing everything you need - right, to achieve in life, don't let anyone else convince you otherwise that you're less than perfect if you are doing everything you can to better your life and the lives of others.
Support is called support. Its not love, it's certainly not unconditional it's for the strong, until you realize that you will never appreciate support when support is given. Never underestimate the importance of support in your life to be received and provided to others.
To be kind is to be loved. To be sweet is to be sincere. What is reciprocated is what is valued, some quality in another that we admire. -What is it that makes you strong, feel whole, apart of, and able. Then those are the kinds of people you should surround yourself with, not anyone person who brings you down in life and not any one person who uses you to make a difference in the lives of others by putting you down to bring themselves up on an non-existing pedestal. You are what you make of yourself, people will say things to you as a writer to make things about them affect you or impact you in the positive or negative -don't allow them to interfere with your psyche or progress as about them or others if your drives and goals in life have been pre-established than nothing motivated by negativity should stop you from fulfilling your dreams as a writer.
Nothing is ever about one thing, person, or place in time. Now is a product of everything past in ones life. Whether or not there are those included. Whether or not one exists in space and time in the lives of others. Nothings certainly ever about one person, that is impossible. Everybody has their own lives. Their own goals. Never take anything personally. I've been this way my whole life, driven: with positive purpose in life. That will never change. Not by anyone I meet not by anyone in my life now or past, I will never change always be me, remain the same: driven. No one can take away your esteem, no one can take away your power, only if you let them. Stay true to yourself and upon all else, things will fall into place. It's never any one persons responsibility to fix others, certainly not those who broke them, dissed them, disrespected them, and injured their character, livelihood, sense of self, ability to achieve, and ruined their lives. Just move forward and let go if you feel that way, that's how I approach life and have been able to achieve in spite of bullying. #stopbullying.
Always be positive and support everyone that comes into your life. You'll be better off because of it. I've never had enemies my whole life, only friends. Because I'm a positive person and never get in fights with people.
