Blogging Campaign Fundamentals by Leslie A. Fischman
Identity is how you define yourself in relation to others. It’s what you identity with that matters, and it is what you identify with that affects your psyche. How you feel about yourself, is based upon the thoughts you have of self and others. There are many ways in which we choose to identify ourselves, by our likes (Facebook) and by our dislikes. That is how we differentiate ourselves from others, and maintain uniqueness of identity. Identity management is important for three reasons: (1) peace of mind (as stated by my Mother in the 90s in her Book), (2) kindness toward others, and lastly (3) kindness toward self. Without these three components one cannot achieve happiness, nor be content with one’s identity. It is for these reasons that we are told to “better ourselves everyday” quoting my Father Dr. Ronald Fischman. This is how I was raised, to believe in myself, and to always do my best. That is how one maintains their sense of self and positive purpose in life, not to live for others necessarily, but first to remember to live for themselves. It is those positive, with positive thoughts about self and others, who find the most success in life, whereas those who find problems within others, the most negative. It is nout our responsibility to be detectives in life, and follow the problems of others, there are spaces for that, professional and confidential spaces for that, not in the public sphere. The best way to stay on the “grass is greener side” of life, is to represent self best, and upon all others things in life, will guarantee to fall into place for you. So long as you remain silent, and do not listen well, the worse off you’ll be. There are always forewarnings in life and people who care, they correct behavior. I had a talk on my porch last night to myself, I suffer from mental illness, and correcting behavior, and that is the bad behavior of others that causes bad behavior in others, and it is through good behavior that positive endings result, that is true. #NYCY
Identity crisis results from a misidentifying of truths within self and others. It is based upon: (1) what you believe to be true, (2) what you see, and (3) what you hear. Not everything overheard is for positive conduct to result, this we know true based upon my responses to someone who called me weird at BungalowSM the other night. Out in public before publishing my book hard bound for the public to pick apart. There was once a basketball player who changed his name to Meta World Peace known for jumping into the stands at a taunter, then later as a known offender, changed his name to Meta World Peace. That was a mistake on his behalf to represent a cause for which his own actions do not accurately represent. That was a misnomer on his part, to take on such a heavy campaign before everyone had started campaigning for those causes he felt necessary to play for at the time.
Identity crisis, means one of two things: (1) one does not feel good enough, (2) one does not feel they have the potential to succeeds, and (3) one feels helpless. These are all general characteristics of victims of crime, and those who suffer from trauma. To feel helpless, and incapable of achieving, that is a natural reaction to stress. But not impossible to be undone, says the US Supreme Court, not impossible. –Its what you think of yourself that matters most, not what other people think of you. Often times identities can be easily finagled and changed, based upon the thoughts that others have of you, that is how one is misguided in life, and how one resents, and finds bad luck in life, reacting in reaction to others, for others, they become negative, once they translate to act for oneself, one begins to empower themselves, but it is through careful guidance, only through careful guidance that one in a state of trauma, can achieve hope for themselves, and regain their abilities to try again. I have experienced this for myself to know how this occurs, its who you trust that matters. Always be careful of who you trust your thoughts with they can be used against you, to translate to negative cycles for you or hardship. This is why we have professionals to tend to our needs, not just friends, professionals.
Mental Illness and Discrimination
I once experienced mental illness Summer 2008, sometime while attending a Birthday Party in Las Vegas. The first bout with mental illness was a result of cocaine abuse in Colorado, Boulder Fall 2006, hearing voices and seeing faces in the stucco above my bed. I woke up once pouring tears, could not move my body, that’s how I knew to stop. At the time I was not attending classes, not working on the hotline, and had completely withdrawn from life. I would spend most days watching TV: Billiards and Sports, and draw and write poetry to music I downloaded 2004, on my new Apple Computer “if you like this song you might like this song.” I was sober at the time and a straight A student Spring 2005, when I dated a basketball player from Trinidad and Tobago. He was sober too, like me, I decided to go sober 2003, after I was defamed in a Yearbook, called “voted most shady” above my photo with another in the backseat, I was going to sit in that same spot, the night Andrew Dennis died leaving my house, with no drinks or drugs, they drove off racing, when we drove by I said stop the car. Most recently placed two flyers for Andrew Dennis, one of the reasons I founded Blogging Campaign, because he died in a Lexus, an automobile, who’s airbag failed to deploy, and save his life upon crashing. This I believe is why my Father did not win his lawsuit, and we lost our House which is now Yellow on Rockingham, the house I grew up in and loved.
Blogging Campaign The Change to Hashtag #BradyMusicCampaign
I was invited to coffee by Suzanne of Brady Music Campaign LA, upon meeting her, after desperately posting flyers on every pole on Sunset Blvd trying to run a Campaign by myself, a hashtag which later became past of my Corporation Registered in the State of California I now pay taxes for and legal fees through Legal Zoom, after losing my job, and begging for my job back, I lost after a Company took my Housekeeping Airbnb Job. –We chatted at Starbucks on Montana, and I told her about my hashtag which I had pitched and mentioned to her by email and to Brady Campaign in DC. Brady Campaign was recommended to me by WIIDC Fall 2011, when applying for the following summer, I had got the job at DC Law Students in Court Summer 2011, but attended two months of rehab instead, because I got dumped during finals by my then boyfriend the night before my Evidence exam, he said “maybe we are not right for eachother” and that he “wanted to be with a smart Attorney.” And would talk to me about his flirtations with a girl from Yeshiva a Law Student he rode the train with everyday to work in Monterey Park, we were all 1 of 40 selected from over 700 applicants we were told during orientation, selected from among the top Law Schools in the Country, I was so proud to be among them, selected. I worked for two Attorney’s that Summer not one, and managed 600 Cases i.e. Clients. Button up’d 600 files, made Action Requests and Calls for Services. Suzanne and I decided to changed #bradymusiccampaign to #bloggingcampaign a more general campaign she recommended to me, how we got an Entertainment, Fashion, and Quotes Campaign, per her advisement, not wanting to worry DC’s Office, we agreed. And that is how this Campaign was founded, with help from the President of Brady Campaign LA. I missed the meeting at her House, the day of my Best Friend’s Baby Shower was scheduled for the same day, was not able to attend both Events. Later Concert Across America was founded by my Facebook Friend Donna Dees, founder of Million Mom March, and I cried the whole time, pouring tears, it was beautiful.
